Vidyant College of Management and Social Science celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2026 with great enthusiasm under the guidance of Director Mr. Punyaslok Aich. The programme was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Mimansa Sahu, BDO, M. Rampur, and Guests of Honour Mrs. Bijayshree Singh, CDPO, M. Rampur, and Mrs. Susama Acharya, Former Principal of Durga Madhaba High School.
The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting, a welcome song, and an introductory address by Ms. S. S. Konhar, Principal I/c. In his address, Director Mr. Punyaslok Aich spoke about the evolving role of women in society and encouraged students to prepare for future opportunities through hard work, confidence, and continuous learning.
Chief Guest Mrs. Mimansa Sahu shared her inspiring journey of becoming an OAS officer and motivated students to believe in themselves, work with determination, and always stand for what is right. The Guests of Honour, Mrs. Bijayshree Singh and Mrs. Susama Acharya, also inspired the audience by sharing their experiences and encouraging students to stay focused on their goals and contribute positively to society.
The programme concluded with prize distribution, the felicitation of the guests, and a vote of thanks by Mrs. Monalisa Sahoo, Faculty of Social Work, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration.
